Join Kristina Truesdale for an evening of beginner knitting! Kristina enjoys sharing her love of knitting and inspiring knitters for life.  This class will focus on learning to knit ribbing via a ribbed cowl project. In the class students will be introduced to the purl stitch, which will allow them to knit in stockinette stitch - knit a row, purl a row. Ribbing is also a fundamental basic skill of knitting and is a great next project which logically follows up on Kristina's first class; the dishcloth/dishtowel.
Students should come prepared with:
- Approx. 300 yards of worsted weight yarn (in any wool or material you will be comfortable with around your neck).
- Size 7, 20 inch circular knitting needles. If you do not own size 7 circular needles, they will be available for purchase in the shop upon arrival.
